Subject Librarians
Our subject librarians can help you with specialised research in your particular field of study. Subject librarians are charged with acquisition decisions in their field and academic consultation of the Departmental Libraries. They collaborate closely with the library liaison officers appointed by the faculties of TU Dortmund.
Our subject librarians offer counsel and training
- how to do literature search for your assignments, essays, bachelor's/master's/doctoral theses etc.
- how to use specialised databases efficiently
- how to use the library's resources and services for literature search successfully
- methodology, bibliographic referencing and academic conventions of your particular field of study.
Other services include:
- handling of your book suggestions
- training for students and faculty staff.
