Changing Language Settings
You can change the default language settings of your browser so that all websites of which an English version exists will be displayed in English. If there is no English version of a website, the German version will be displayed automatically.
For Mozilla Firefox 3.x change the settings as follows:
- Extras -> Einstellungen
- Inhalt -> Sprachen
- Click "Wählen" to select your preferred language.
- Select "Englisch [en]" and use the button "Nach oben" to move it to the first position.
- Likewise, move "Englisch/Vereinigte Staaten von Amerika [en-us]" to the second position by using the button "Nach oben" and confirm by clicking "Ok".
- If these two language settings are not on your list, add them individually from the drop-down menu "Wählen Sie eine Sprache zum Hinzufügen aus" and click on the "Hinzufügen" button.
- If you change your mind and want all websites to be displayed in English again, just move "Deutsch/Deutschland [de-de]" and "Deutsch/Deutschland [de]" back up to the top positions.
If you are using a different browser, changing the language settings should work similarly.
