Using the UniCard as Library card
(TU Dortmund Students only)
Newly registered Students
Newly registered students of TU Dortmund get the new UniCard 2.0 which is also the library card. Issuing of the cards starts in October 2011. Together with the Uni account you can use the UniCard 2.0 for other services such as borrowing, interlibrary loan or the internet workstations. More information on the ITMC web site UniCard.
Students with a 'green' UniCard
Students registered before winter term 2011 will get the UniCard 2.0 from October 2011. You have to apply for the UniCard 2.0 at the ITMC: Kartenbestellung.
Using the Unicard at the University Library
The Unicard is required for borrowing media and for authentication.
- If you use the Unicard as library card log in on our catalgoue (Your account, reservations, renewals) with your Uni account.
- You can also log in with your Uni account on the Internet workstations, the Digital Library (DigiBib) and Interlibrary loan and article delivery
